But long before that, I was an actress and singer hiding behind the characters I played on professional stages.
When the lights went dark and the makeup came off, I was left wondering what it would feel to get paid to be ME.
I struggled to imagine a path of purpose, where I could do things my own way and get paid for my passions.
I always felt a calling to lead and inspire others but I doubted myself and my voice.
It had been this way since I was 13 years old, when bullying buried my voice deep within.
For too long, I hid and kept my value from the world.
I felt my chest grow tighter when it came time to public speaking…
I shut down when I thought about running my own business...
And the claustrophobia of not rising to meet my highest vision was REAL...
I wanted to do life on my terms and make a dent in the world, and then I realised, you need to EXPRESS the voice within in order to accomplish your dreams.
With over two decades studying the voice and human, I have several modalities under my belt, including energy psychology, NLP, yoga, quantum manifestation, and trauma healing. I've completed more than 14 courses in applied integrated holistic practices, embodiment and voice.
But it's my unique story that has helped me to fulfill my purpose and call my dream life into being.
As I immersed myself in exploring the connections between trauma, feminine leadership, story and self-expression, I saw the voice as the life-altering tool that it is.
